Basic-Traditional Mexican Salsa Recipe
Traditional Mexican salsa is very easy to make which why it is a good place to start if you are new to the Mexican cuisine.
4 pilled tomatoes
2 garlic glove
1 teaspoon of Olive oil
2 Onions cleaned and chopped
3 oz of chopped green chilies
1 Anaheim green chili
1 table spoon lime juice
1/3 cup of fresh and chopped cilantro
1/3 cup of cold water
½ of teaspoon of apple vinegar
Tomatoes and green chilies should be chopped into relatively large pieces whereas the garlic, onion and cilantro should be chopped into very small pieces.
Once you are finished with chopping combine chopped tomatoes, garlic, onion, green chilies and cilantro in a single pot. Then, while slowly mixing it with a large cooking (wooden) spoon, gradually add Olive oil, Anaheim green chili, apple vinegar and lime juice.
Finally, just before serving it add cold water to cool the salsa.
