Authentic Mexican Chicken Casserole

Mexicans have great chicken soups, fresh and tasteful chicken salads that make a full and very healthy meal, many main chicken-based dishes, and so on.
This may come as a surprise to many Americans because Mexican food in the United States is not the authentic Mexican food. The Tex-Mex food, Mexican food in the U.S, is Americanized and it is very rich in fat and calories which is not the case with the traditional Mexican food.
Traditional Mexican food is low on fat and calories and rich in vitamins and minerals. Therefore if you whish to eat healthy and be healthy the traditional Mexican food is the great choice for you and your loved ones.
Traditional Mex Chicken Casserole Recipe
Four chicken breasts (boneless, cooked and diced)
Dozen corn tortillas
Homemade chicken soup
1/2 pound (250gr) of Mexican Velveeta cheese
½ teaspoon oregano
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
First peel tomatoes, then dice the onion, tomatoes and chicken and mix them with the chicken soup, oregano, garlic powder, chili powder and ground cumin. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about five minutes.
In a greased pan layer the tortillas, then layer the chicken cubes, then layer the cheese and pour the soup over. Repeat with the remaining ingredients however note that three layers are optimal.
Once you are done layering place the pan into the preheated oven (350 degrees) for 40 minutes.
